Discover Through The Showroom
As mentioned in our M/FW 2019 Melbourne piece, we will be introducing 20SS collections from C/MEO Collective and Keepsake the Label to the website. These two labels are long time staples for many of the Fashion Boundary team members so this is an exciting addition to the FB family.
C/MEO Collective and Keepsake are well loved by the Australian market. Fashion Boundary aims to stock brands and items that everyone is able to connect with and love. As Fashion Boundary is still in its infancy, involving lesser known brands from around the globe is important to us, we source niche labels who value ethical means of production and strive to use sustainable materials. However we thought partnering with such well known Aussie labels such as C/MEO and Keepsake would appeal to our local customers as well as a way to discover our other international talented designers.
C/MEO offers high quality, unique designs at an affordable price. Since launching in 2010, C/MEO has build its own signature aesthetic through the use of unique prints, premium fabrics and strong silhouettes.
Their in-house designed patterns are different to our other curated fashion items and bring a fresh array of new pieces to offer our customers.
Headed by designer Siham Elmawey, each of the label’s collections maintain a focus on artistic design, the label’s garments are designed to create an emotional impact with the wearer. With each creation running deeper than just clean lines and following trends.
We thought we’d take you on a little sticky beak of the upcoming collection. Note a peep of Coral Pink and Saffron in C/MEO, two of the colours featured in Pantone’s Spring/Summer 2020 Color Palette as discussed in our Colour Trends for 2020 journal piece. You can’t go past the Flame Scarlet long balloon sleeved top we can’t wait to get our hands on. We also love the tan blazer/dress, offering an array of looks to play with, also working in with the Coat/Dress trend featured in this Stylecaster.com piece Fashion Trends We’ll All Be Wearing in 2020, According to the Runways.
Keepsake the Label
Since its launch in 2011, Keepsake the Label provides a new take on traditional forms of evening wear. Fusing feminine silhouettes with a contemporary attitude, with luxurious fabrics and an emphasis on intricate detailing and new techniques. Their designs are a mix of romance and modern sophistication and we think they’ll compliment our current pieces and offer fun, fresh pieces to our Fashion Boundary customers.
Keep on the lookout for polka dot pieces, with Harper’s Bazaar stating the trend is showing no signs of slowing keep up to date with Keepsake the Label’s stunning maxi polka dot dress. The lace number falls into Vogue’s 10 Trends from fashion weeks to know now, with Loewe, Alexander McQueen, Isabel Marant and Valentino all including lace work in their latest collections.
