We’ve been feeling inspired by the recent runways and street styles seen through digital shows and snapped on Instagram. One can’t help but notice the particular fashion trends that are popping up time and time again which can easily be worked into your everyday wardrobe.
The Khaki Edit
Seen at The Row, Thakoon and Louis Vuitton. Light browns, tans and khaki are a fashion favourite. This colour looks great with neutrals and adds a chic element to denim. We love a tailored tan moment as it is featured in many of the collections on Fashion Boundary. Our favourites include the 3-Tier Prairie Dress by Fashion Boundary Label, the Double Layer Blazer from Blancore and the Laura Trench Coat from MsHem.
Black Face Masks
Black face masks have been flooding the Instagram fashion feeds, not only are they considered protective gear in this current climate, but they’re also a chic addition to your wardrobe. The black choice is no doubt that favourite as it is an easy-to-pair piece and will go with all of your clothes! Wear it with anything from a full-monotone look to pairing it with your most colourful outfit, trust us - a black mask will go with everything. Our favourite is the Black & Black Topmask with additional neck chain and the Airinum Mask in Black Onyx.
More than one fashion house has been opting for pastel hues recently. We've seen sorbet tones feature in collections of Max Mara, Rick Owens and Jil Sander. We love a full pastel look and whether it sticks around or is just here for a brief moment, we’re not complaining. Our favourite pastel pieces featured on Fashion Boundary are the Power Pink Blazer from Modapolka, the Syros Dress in Bare by A Perfect Nomad and the gorgeous Yellow Ruffled Strap Dress from Square Circle.
Full monochrome outfits are making a comeback, seen at Dolce & Gabbana through their checkerboard patchwork dresses and recently at Chanel with their ever stylish black and white suiting. We love the ease and simplicity of a black and white look, let alone how timeless and chic monochrome styling can be. To emulate this trend our Fashion Boundary picks include the Casual White Blazer and the Black PU Blazer from Square Circle. A special mention also goes out to the PASOA Heel in white from PASO A PASO for their classic look.
Silk headscarves have been having a moment in fashion for a while now and we haven’t seen them go. We love the versatility of a scarf, the options to use it as a top, a neck accessory, bag decoration and multiple ways to tie it around your head. Our favourite silk scarves are from Sidikai, we love them because their products are 100% cruelty-free silk (made out of Peace Silk) scarves crafted with 100% toxic-free dyes.
We hope that you’ve found some trends that have caught your eye. Don’t forget to always shop your own wardrobe first for forgotten items that have come back in style before buying something new.
